We would like to thank everyone in the community, and especially to those who attended the recent council meetings, for your support during what has been a very difficult time for our family. We completely understand why most residents do not want to attend, or get involved in Peninsula politics. It is a disgrace how certain council members in this community behave at these public meetings. They are fiscally, and morally irresponsible, and slanderous in their actions. It is a pattern of behavior. A pattern that recently cost the village an enormous amount of money it does not have to spare, at the tax payers’ expense. It’s an embarrassment to us, as well as to everyone in the community. Mayor Doug Mayer has done an exemplary job trying to clean up, this long time running mess, made by elected officials and Village employees and we thank him and support him. We hope you do as well.
Unfortunately, excuses are not acceptable. Due to the council’s current actions, and the stress that it caused me and my family, I have no choice but to terminate my position with the village. It has been my pleasure to serve you. Thank you again for all of your support.
