CHURCH IN THE VALLEY
If you enjoy hiking, biking, or just being out in the valley during the summer, we have something you may find interesting. Beginning the first Sunday of June (June1) and continuing thru out the summer until the end of August, Church in the Valley will be hosting a brief half hour service from 8:30am until 9:00am. You can start your Sunday out being spiritually refreshed before you head out into the park for the day.
Weather permitting, the service will be held outdoors on our beautiful church grounds behind the church under a canopy tent. Services will be held indoors if the weather is inclement. Bottled water and energy snacks will also be provided (even if you are not a hiker/biker)!
Church in the Valley is a non-denominational, Bible-believing church with a desire to serve the community and help people draw closer to God. We are located at 2241 Everett Rd. just south of Szalay's Market, just a few hundred yards from the covered bridge.
The Hopewell Indians once lived in the area where the church was built in 1891. Our sanctuary is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Directions: If you are on the tow path, get off at Szalay's Markets. Turn right (South) on Riverview Rd. In 200 yards, turn left onto Everett Rd. The church is on the right, before you get to the covered bridge. For more information about our church, check us out online: www.churchinthevalley.org
