The Peninsula Village Planning Commission has created a Wastewater Advisory Committee for the purpose of understanding current wastewater treatment in the Village, evaluating wastewater treatment options, and making recommendations to the Planning Commission. Wastewater is the effluent discharged from septic systems. Members of the Committee are Karen Walters (Chair), Mike Kaplan (Secretary), Dee Holody, Mary Booth, and Bill Clifton. The Committee will generally meet every other Monday at 5:30 pm at the GAR Hall. Meetings are open to the public. The date, time, and location of the meetings are posted by the Village. You can also contact one of the committee members to confirm the meeting schedule or ask a question regarding the Committee’s work. The Committee is in the initial stage of developing a work plan. The Committee will provide periodic reports of its activities and findings.
