The Village of Peninsula Council met in regular session on November 14, 2016.

Ms. Holody reported that the Ohio Historical Preservation Office reported that the sandstone in the Village did cause adverse effect. However, ODOT is claiming that no adverse effect was caused, because no buildings were lost. The next step is to hold a formal meeting between representatives of Village Council, Planning Commission, Village Residents, State Historical Preservation Office and the Federal Highway Works Administration. Ms. Holody is hopeful that the sandstone will be returned.
