PENINSULA COUNCIL
The Village Council met in regular session on September 11, 2017. Council decided to advertise for bids for the trash hauling contract for the Village. Councilman Matusz presented Council with a proposal for the repair of Stine Road. Upon getting more information, Council will hold a special meeting, tentatively scheduled for Monday, September 25 at 6:30PM to consider the proposals. The meeting may be scheduled earlier if the information can be obtained prior to then. The Mayor announced that they will be picking up the new Road Department truck sometime during the week of the 18th. The new truck and other equipment from the Road Department will be on display in the Village parking lot prior to the next regular meeting on the 10th of October. The Council also approved the new Village Employee Handbook. There will be some vacancies on the Village's Board of Zoning Appeals. Any resident who would like to serve on the Board may call the Mayor's Office.
