PENINSULA COUNCIL

The Peninsula Village Council met in regular session on September 10, 2018. It was reported that the new police cruiser should be in shortly and will be available to be picked up. The Mayor announced that two part time Police Officers, Michael Testa and Kyle Allen, have resigned. He and the Police Chief will interview new candidates to replace them. The Mayor also announced that there is still a vacancy on the Board of Zoning Appeals. If anyone is interested in filling this position, please contact the Mayor`s Office. Council voted to suspend all actions regarding the Sewer Fees. Council also agreed to enter into an agreement with the Summit County Sheriff`s Office to remain an OVI Task Force Member.
