SHARE-A-CHRISTMAS

a For over twenty years the Boston Township Trustees have sponsored the community Share-A-Christmas program. This year over fifty families received assistance from the generosity of this community.

Thank you to the members of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church and Peninsula United Methodist Church for gifts, knitted items, and food. The Methodist Church and members along with Mother of Sorrows Church gave monetary donations. I continue to be amazed by the generosity of all of you. Thank you to Molly Wagner for coordinating the Giving Tree at the Catholic Church. While all of these donations are anonymous, we also received donations from Jim and Kim Hammond, Russ and Liz Morgan, Dan and Janice Schneider, Mark and Cathy Anson, Bill and Nancy Clifton, and the Conservancy for the CVNP. Thanks to Craig Moledor for organizing the "Fill the Squad" effort and all of the members of Valley Fire who spent an afternoon distributing everything.

It takes a great deal of effort to get to the delivery stage. This year with help from Dan and Joanne Palicka the task was a lot easier. They helped organize everything into categories.

Pictured below is the dedicated group that meets the Friday before everything is delivered. Share-A- Christmas would not happen without them.
