OUR SINCERE THANKS
In October the Peninsula Home & Garden Club reached out to the community for donations to support our year–long work of decorating the Peninsula downtown bridge and to help fund a new signpost. It is humbling how many donations we received, but more meaningful are the many notes and cards that were sent with the checks expressing their own thanks and appreciation for the bridge flowers and decorations.
Thank you so much to all of you who contributed to the Garden Club, for a total of $1145!!
Your donations have already been put to good use! Our new post, and a refurbish of the original Memorial Flowers sign, has been completed and erected. A big thank you to Charlie Moyer who built the signpost and Rocky Pritchard and his crew for the install. The sign is much more visible now with a more fitting post, and more vibrant colors…so look for it at the SE corner of the bridge!
