BOSTON TOWNSHIP

The township minutes are posted on our website at www.bostontownship.org and outside the fiscal office at the Boston Township Hall. . Meetings are covered by the West Side Leader. Trustee meetings are the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. Zoning commission meets the second Tuesday of the month and the Board of Zoning Appeals meets the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Road Department: Due to the early arrival of snow last fall, there are leaves from last year still needing to be vacuumed. For one week (April 5 through 9) the Road Department will be around to vacuum up any stray piles of leaves. As always, please do not place your leaves on the road, but pile them near the roadside allowing room for our machinery to operate safely. Please pile leaves away from signs, mailbox posts, and ditches. Brush pick up commences the first Monday in May and continues through October. Place cut ends toward the curb. Please no dirt, or dirt balls and no foreign material such as lumber, nails, or barbed wire. For more information, please call the Road Department at (330) 657-2600.

Property Reappraisals: Residents who have questions about their new home values are encouraged to contact the Summit County Board of Revision where property owners can request a hearing to discuss the new valuations. A completed DTE-1 form (Complaint Against the Valuation of Real Property) must be received by the Board of Revision by March 31, 2021.
