To the Editors:
I wanted to thank many of you for your support this past election day. Though some of us may have hoped for different results, I am humbled by a level of votes that many thought was not possible, and I`m grateful that many of you saw fit to place your confidence in me. I`m proud of what we achieved and the message that it has sent to our local officials, and I remain dedicated to seeing change effectuated on the major issues that I felt obligated to speak on as well as continuing to show up and advocate on behalf of our small town.
I encourage you all to join me in taking deeper dives into the happenings of our local government. As we sit here today, the Board of Zoning Appeals evaluates conditional uses for properties on Akron Cleveland Road with long term implications for our community, though has received limited public commentary to date – your opinions matter and it is important that they are heard more frequently than just on election day.
Lastly, I pray that our elected trustees in Mike and Amy deliver on the transparency, accountability, and advocacy for safety and development that Boston deserves, and I wish them the best in their positions in achieving such.
